Stuart attended undergraduate school at the University of Rhode Island, and received a B.S. in Business Administration.  He received an M.S. in Biblical and Related Studies and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. 

Stuart has over 20 years of experience working with clients from childhood onward in individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.

Stuart has a close working relationship with Dr. Elliott Friedeman, a psychiatrist, who practices in the same office.  When the need for medication therapy is indicated, Stuart and Dr. Friedeman can coordinate a comprehensive treatment plan.
